Common Misuses with Car Seats

with Jason Mundy Child Passenger Safety Technician founder of NY Metro CPR

Saturday, February 16th 1:30- 3:00 | $45

In a recent study, published in the Journal of Pediatrics, nearly 300 parents, mostly moms between the ages of 25 and 34 were surveyed, and observed by certified child passenger safety technicians as they installed their car seats and positioned their babies. Believe it or not, just 5% of the families made no mistakes. And half of the participants had older children! So it’s not as if this was their first time attempting to decode a car seat.

Purchasing and installing a car seat can be a daunting task. Unless it’s installed by a trained professional, the chance there is at least one misuse present is significant.
This workshop will provide you with the top ten common errors with car seat installations. Essentially, you’ll know what to look for and whether you need to hire a professional to inspect and/or install it properly.
