Tuesday Tip – Hot Socks!

This may sound like an odd idea, but trust me, it is worth the effort! Fill up a tube sock with dry rice or barley, enough to make a supple pack. Sew the end securely closed. For those who like a particular scent, experiment with adding a little essential oil. Lavender is very calming and citrus oils are energizing! When ready to use, microwave the sock for about two or three minutes.

Moms-To-Be Bring this along in your hospital bag. If you are having lower back pain, this can really help relieve discomfort!

New Moms After carrying your baby around, your shoulders and upper back may really be tight and sore. Once the baby is asleep, heat up the sock, make a cup or tea and relax!
