We do not pre-register Prenatal, Postnatal, or Baby & Me yoga classes at the Upper West Side studio. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early before taking your first class. New Prenatal yoga students are welcome to take any class on our schedule and then decide whether to put their first class towards a class package, or purchase a single class. If you prefer to continue as a drop-in student, after your first class, you will be limited to our Saturday classes.
Please note that all students may opt to take drop-in classes at full term, generally after the 37th week of pregnancy.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to class.
Complete your new student paperwork before you come to class! Click here to fill out the waiver online, and then just sign in when you get to the studio. Your account will already be active in our system.
Give the gift of yoga or a workshop with a gift card!
The Prenatal Yoga Center honors and respects the journey of pregnancy and new motherhood. With that in mind, we have created guidelines and policies that offer flexibility while maintaining the integrity and intention of our yoga program and other professional services. We appreciate your understanding and observance of our guidelines and policies and look forward to serving you.
Classes are filled on a “first come first serve” basis. While we did consider preregistration like many other studios offer, we serve a very unique population. Studios that offer preregistration often have a cancellation policy ranging from 1 – 24 hours advance notice without being charged. Given we serve pregnant women and new moms with babies, this policy would not be appropriate considering last minute changes can occur more often with a baby or a pregnant mom than your average person. Looking at the bigger picture, we feel the best way to accommodate our community is to run on a “first come first serve basis.” Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time to assure a space. We appreciate the community’s understanding for this policy.
With the exception of bedrest accompanied by a doctor’s note, The Prenatal Yoga Center cannot be responsible for providing additional make-ups or issuing any credit for classes missed as a result of scheduling conflicts, vacations, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If you are put on bedrest, please notify the studio immediately and remaining classes will be transferred to Mommy and Me or Postnatal Yoga.

If you need to cancel your commitment to a workshop, you must cancel at least two weeks prior to the event. You will receive a refund minus 10% processing fee. If you cancel within two weeks of the workshop, if the space can be filled, you will receive a refund minus 10% processing fee. If the space cannot be filled there will not be a refund.
Latecomers will be admitted to class at the teachers discretion.
Please note: These classes are intended to serve as a resource to the pre and postnatal communities. If you are not pregnant or recently pregnant, and you are hoping to “observe” class or take class in order to get a sense of what is covered, we cannot accommodate you. Please see our Teacher Training Program, offered twice yearly.
