Partner Prenatal Yoga and Massage with Anne Heckheimer, BA, LMT, CPT, and Hess Kim
Sundays 4-6:15 pm, $135 per couple
Upcoming workshops: March 29 | April 26 | June 7 | July 26
If you’re looking for a unique and useful way to connect with your partner during pregnancy, then look no further. Our Partner Yoga & Massage workshop, taught by PYC instructor, childbirth educator, and doula Hess Kim, and Anne Heckheimer, BA, LMT, CPT, from the Prenatal Massage Center will guide you through various techniques to ease the aches of pregnancy and labor.
The first half of this workshop helps the pregnant person and partner prepare for birth with yoga sequences, breath awareness, and restorative postures. The second half of the workshop emphasizes partner massage, combining Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu and Thai massage techniques.
Partner work helps to reduce mom’s tension and discomfort, improves sleep, increases circulation, and deepens the connection between you and your baby. Partner work can also be enormously helpful during labor.
Moms and partners should wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for moving around. Jeans will not be comfortable.
When you register for one of our regular monthly workshops – Partner Yoga and Massage, Breastfeeding, How to Care for Your Newborn, or Infant CPR – you will receive a code for $50 OFF our Childbirth Education 2 Day Intensive! Please note, we cannot offer the promo if you have already purchased a Childbirth Education workshop. You must register for one of the 4 workshops listed above PRIOR to enrolling in Childbirth Education. Thank you!
