Our 90 minute Newborn Care class helps expecting families become familiar with the basics of infant care and feeding in the early days and weeks after birth. Take this class before you have the baby. While this class will touch on bottle feeding techniques and tips (pumped breastmilk, donor breast milk or formula), if you are planning to breastfeed/chestfeed please *also* sign up for a lactation class.

In person workshops are held at our Upper West Side location at 141 W 72nd Street. Proof of vaccination is required for in person classes; vaccination cards will be checked by your teacher upon arrival at the studio.
Online workshops are held via Zoom. For online workshops, you will receive login information directly from Boober.

Alicia Suarez is a DONA certified birth doula, a certified Breastfeeding Counselor, and a DONA trained postpartum doula. She has years of experience as a yoga therapist, specializing in prenatal and postpartum yoga, and is skilled in the use of breathing, and acupressure.
Please Note: Many of our instructors are doulas. PYC & Boober reserve the right to provide a substitute teacher should the need arise.
