Join us for prenatal yoga at Wild Was Mama in Greenpoint! Chantal teaches this unique class, which links yoga postures with breath, helps to bring awareness to the mind and body, and deepens the connection to your baby. Yoga helps to alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy, strengthens the uterus and pelvic muscles, improves circulation, and increases overall comfort. Our safe, welcoming, open community allows you to freely discuss any issues or concerns and share the wonderful new changes you and your baby are experiencing.
Classes can be purchased in a monthly series. If you miss a class during your series, you can make-up your missed class by taking any prenatal yoga class at our UWS location. A limited number of single classes are made available each week based on availability. These can be purchased below or in person at class.
Chantal Eder is a yoga instructor who specializes in alignment-based practice, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and yoga for backcare. A born traveler, she has lived in Canada, London, and now resides in NYC, where she recently gave birth to her first child, Josef Hiroshi. She studied with Deb and Caprice at PYC during her pregnancy. She is passionate about sharing her experience of childbirth to support women in their own journey to motherhood.
