Hey Joy-

Good to hear from you! No- you were not the couple I was referring to.

Thanks for your feedback on the babywearing question.

Hope you are doing well!

Take care

Hm, I hope it wasn't us fighting in the delivery room!

Sonya--a great resource is metrominis on 75th and Park. They have free informative classes on "babywearing." They have weighted baby dolls, if you want to try them out before you have your baby.

You aren't limited to a bjorn or a sling. There are so many options out there, the best option is the one that works for you and fits your body type.

Good luck finding the perfect carrier--one that works for your body and supports the natural splay of a baby's hips!

I think this is very useful in the event that people have unrealistic expectations about their partner's ability to cope with the situation.
I appreciate all the info I have received from your blogging.

I was wondering if you would write a blog on Baby Bjorn carriers. One of my friends said that they are not good and that slings are better. The theory is that there is too much weight on the baby's pelvis and the legs dangle down adding more unnecessary weight. it's hard to tell if this is just Baby Bjorn mud slinging by the sling people or if it's really valid. That said, there are so many sling types out there I felt a little lost as where to begin. i checked out some sites: mammasmilk is one but don't really know the criteria of what makes a good sling.
have you heard any of this?
Thanks,
Sonya
