It is pretty and light and less cumbersome then a bed sheet for when she walks around. The mum's feel less exposed too! I also bring the mirror to the bed AFTER the baby is out and on mum's chest. We are all oohing and awing at the baby but all mum can see is the top of the head. With the mirror placed by the bed she can see her baby as it makes it way to the breast.
